Scope

These draft terms govern use of the current demonstration website. Any future live offering will have its own offering-specific investment agreement and documents, which are separate from these terms.

Operator

small.fund is proposed to be operated by Small Fund Ventures Inc.. BC corporation number: pending. CRA business number: pending. GST/HST registration: not confirmed. Correspondence address: 4055 Pender St., Burnaby, BC V5C 2L9, Canada (owner-supplied; awaiting consistency check against incorporation documents; not a verified registered office). Details are owner-supplied and pending document verification. small.fund holds no securities, financial-services or other regulatory registration.

Our role and our partner's role

small.fund presents companies and their offerings. Live subscriptions, eligibility checks, payments and ownership records will be handled by a regulated partner once one is contracted. No partner has been contracted yet.

small.fund does not hold client money, give investment advice or operate a regulated market.

Accounts

Accounts are for individuals aged 18 or over. Eligibility for any live offering is decided by the partner's approved process, not by information you declare on this site. Keep your sign-in details secure.

Demo and live functions

The site is currently in demonstration mode. Demo investments move no money and create no securities. Live investing stays switched off until every launch approval is recorded.

Cards and investment interests

A card is a visual representation of an investment interest described in the offering documents. The card itself is not a security, and its artwork, hologram and watermark are not evidence of legal ownership.

Offering documents

Each offering has its own documents. Where they differ from these terms, the offering documents apply.

No promised liquidity or returns

There is no resale facility. Returns, dividends and exits are not guaranteed.

Prohibited use

No misuse, scraping, impersonation, fraud, attempts to bypass eligibility or security controls, or unauthorised promotion of offerings.

Suspension, closure and records

We may suspend or close accounts where required. You can request access to your records; some records must be kept by law.

Intellectual property

The small.fund name, logo and card designs belong to their owners. Company artwork belongs to the issuer or its licensors.
